This week the Google Wallet team was surprised when two different vulnerabilities were discovered. One hack revealed a user’s PIN number on a rooted phone and the other allowed anyone to reset the PIN and gain access to funds on a Google Wallet prepaid card.

Samsung is hard at work figuring out ways to bring Touchwiz, their custom Android UI overlay, to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. They appear to be pretty far down the road already and have released a 4-minute video demonstrating a Touchwiz-zed version of Android 4.0.1 running on a Galaxy S II device.

LG and Prada have teamed up yet again to deliver an Android smartphone geared toward the elegant crowd. According to the press release, the LG Prada 3.0 “combines the unmistakable style of Prada with LG’s innovative technology.”

Last week Sharp introduced a new camera module with optical image stabilization that features the industry’s thinnest profile (5.47 mm).
