One of the many, many Android powered products announced at this week’s CES event was something Polaroid is calling the SC1630 Smart camera Powered by Android. It’s a pretty standard 16MP digital camera with a 3X optical zoom, plus a 3.2″ display for touching your new photographs and the usual Android hardware options like wi-fi and GPS image tagging – and access to the Android Market.
Polaroid seems to be comparing it against mobile phone cameras, which it obviously beats…
…plus that’s a very prominent shutter button. Apart from that… bit of a weird product. Some time during 2012 is the only launch window Polaroid provided.
