The Times The Times
The Times Win 7 app offers specially designed editions of The Times and The Sunday Times. It combines the best journalism with interactivity, including graphics, photographs and exclusive videos. The app will bring you incisive news, analysis, features and coverage from Britain’s most experienced political reporters, foreign correspondents and award-winning columnists and sports writers, including Caitlin Moran, Anatole Kaletsky and Dominic O'Connell.

Good news for our UK friends as the Times official newspaper app for Windows Phone has just gone live in the Marketplace. The app is well designed and brings the daily paper and even the Sunday Times right to your favorite Windows Phone all for free.

Well, it’s free if you have a subscription. That’s right, much like the New York Times app for Windows Phone, the Times of London will allow you to test drive their services for 30 days but afterwards you will need a subscription to continue the service.

Features of the app include:

·Top Stories
·Features
·Opinion
·Video

The app is reportedly going to be updated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week meaning if you’re a news junkie (and tied to your phone) the official Times app could be a good choice for you.

In our brief moments with the app, it loaded fast and it has very clean, Metro design. Articles are easy to read and the images look fantastic. Our only complaint would be the lack of options, inability to share any articles (no social sharing), etc. But being a version 1.0 we’ll let that slide for an initial release.
